Rob Stepp - President of Creative Kitchens Inc.Press Release

Creative Kitchens Rob Stepp Honored by the Bath & Kitchen Buying Group

Bethesda, MD:  The Bath & Kitchen Buying Group honored Creative Kitchens Rob Stepp for his two years of service as the organization’s president.  BKBG is the largest member owned purchasing cooperative in the bath and kitchen industry in North America.

Stepp seamlessly led the organization through a management change and accomplished his goal of leaving BKBG a much stronger and better-known entity.  The management change resulted in a new communications program that provides content weekly basis that enables BKBG members to improve their search engine optimization resulting in first-page appearances on local search results.  BKBG’s communication platform also enables Stepp and his staff to keep their fingers on the pulse of industry trends and changes, new product announcements and manufacturer updates.

During Stepp’s tenure, the organization rolled out a new web site that provides every member with real-time access to purchasing programs and contact information for sales, technical support and customer service personnel from BKBG’s more than 50 manufacturing and service providing partners.

The re-engineering of the Annual BKBG Conference was another hallmark of Stepp’s presidency.  The group added programs that allow peers with similar business models in noncompeting market territories to discuss common challenges, opportunities and best industry practices.

Organizational growth was an additional highlight of Stepp’s tenure.  Purchasing volume increased by 33% in two years.  Stepp believes that the access to a network of peers who are ready, willing and able to share their experiences and expertise is a differentiating benefit of being a BKBG member and he was humbled by the opportunity to lead the group from 2016-2017.
